So I have no idea why there are any bad reviews for the salon and esp Douglas. I was referred to Douglas' salon over a year and a half ago by a friend. My first visit, I wanted blonde balayage and it was the best experience ever. And Douglas delivered exactly what I wanted. However, since I lived over an hour away, I never went back and was determined to find a salon that would meet my expectations near me. I went to 4 different salons, multiple times and every time I was told that my hair could never have the ash blonde color that I have been looking for. Frustrated and after spending 100s of dollars, I decided to make an appointment with Douglas on a snow day. As soon as I got there, I was greeted by the nicest gentleman. There was no wait, everyone there is so pleasant. Then the magic happened. Douglas came over and asked me what I was looking for today. I showed him a pic without giving him my history and from the get go he told me the truth and told me he wasn't sure if he could give me what I was looking for but that he will try his best. Nowadays it is so hard to find someone that will tell you the truth. They washed my hair and Douglas did his magic. Before I knew, I was walking out of there with a beautiful ash blonde color and treated like a hair model. Needless to say I am taking that hour drive every 2 months for my touch ups. Douglas I can't thank you enough for being my hair guru!!.
